Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she studied the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox survived off an allowance for students working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox was not content with her skills compared to other students at Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She left the band prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent contest New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. The band she was in, was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create their own group, the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox then began to work on her first solo album Diva and it was released by 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. This E.P. This is the companion album to her Now I let you go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first self-released album. In the following years, Lennox was joined by the band with fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Medusa the album from 1995 studio features version covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums of her own, plus one compilation album, are the result of her efforts.
